Car Seat Classes!

Birthing Ways offers car seat classes providing education on how to install and use your car seats.  Families with UCare and Medica Insurance coverage may qualify for a free car seat according to their plan. 

Please contact us at carseats@birthingways.org for more information about upcoming classes and eligibility (please include the name of the child or pregnant mom and their birth date, insurance plan, and member ID number).  You must be pre-registered for the class so email us today.

Classes are held at Peace Church located at 1111 N 11th Ave E. in Duluth.  Park in the back on the lower level.  Plan for the class to take an hour and a half with the option of installing your car seat and having it inspected before you leave!  Little babies are welcome but please arrange your own childcare for older children.

The car seat you will receive will depend on the age and weight of your child.  We have convertible (rear facing infant to forward facing) and combination (forward facing to high back booster) seats.  Colors and styles may vary.
